National Literacy Awards Recognize Doukkala Association’s Impact
RABAT – The National Agency for the Fight against Illiteracy honored outstanding associations across Morocco’s twelve regions on October 13th, National Day to combat Illiteracy, with the Doukkala Association receiving a Merit prize as the leading representative of the Casablanca-Settat region. The awards ceremony was chaired by the Minister Delegate in charge of relations with Parliament and civil society.
The Doukkala Association was specifically recognized for its exemplary dedication to implementing Morocco’s national literacy programme, demonstrating a commitment to good governance, operational efficiency, and disciplined execution of educational initiatives. According to the agency, the association’s innovative and inclusive programs have demonstrably improved learning outcomes and social integration for its beneficiaries.
Through ongoing efforts, the doukkala Association focuses on expanding lifelong learning opportunities and providing citizens with essential reading, writing, and numeracy skills – aligning with Morocco’s national vision for extensive and sustainable human development.
