Investigators from the Brigade de la Police Judiciaire (BRPJ) in El Jadida, acting under the direction of the El Jadida prosecution, launched a covert investigation. after gathering sufficient evidence, they orchestrated a controlled operation, leading to the official’s arrest while accepting the bribe.
The official, whose name has not yet been publicly released pending further legal proceedings, is currently in police custody facing charges of “active corruption” and “abuse of function.” He was presented before a judge in El Jadida on Tuesday morning.
