Trailpartie Brings New Mountain Biking Event to Mühlviertel‘s Roadlberg
OTTENSCHLAG, Austria – A new mountain biking experiance is rolling into the Mühlviertel region this weekend, as the Trailpartie event series makes it’s debut on the Roadlberg mountain. The event, scheduled for October 18th and 19th, promises a weekend focused on camaraderie and enjoying the trails, rather than competitive racing.
Trailpartie aims to fill a niche for riders who prioritize fun and social interaction alongside their passion for mountain biking. While timed runs will be available as part of a “trail game,” the overall atmosphere is designed to be welcoming to all skill levels, emphasizing participation and shared experience. This first-time event seeks to establish a recurring fixture on the Austrian mountain biking calendar, bringing a unique blend of riding and entertainment to the region.
The Roadlberg trails will be open for exploration from Saturday morning, with a guided group ride planned for 1:00 PM. Later that afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, a “Gaudi prologue” – a lighthearted, fun-focused ride – will take place. Saturday evening will feature live music at the Roadltenne, with performances by Linz-based musicians Kinetical MC and DJ Addvice. Admission to the concert is free.
Sunday’s activities kick off at 11:30 AM, with participants taking to the trails to showcase their bike handling skills. The event is expected to conclude between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Organizers anticipate a diverse range of riders, all united by a love for the sport and a desire for a good time.
