King ⁢Gizzard & ⁤teh Lizard Wizard have unveiled a run‍ of 2026 U.S. ​tour dates, including a special​ three-night stand at Forest hills Stadium in Queens, new York. ​The prolific Australian psych-rock collective will bring their expansive ‍catalog and renowned live show to audiences across the country.

This announcement arrives as King Gizzard & the lizard Wizard continue to solidify their position as one of‌ the most innovative and consistently⁣ engaging bands in ⁤contemporary music. known for their relentless⁣ output-releasing ⁤multiple albums per year-and genre-bending experimentation,the band’s⁣ tour promises⁢ a‌ dynamic experience for both longtime fans and newcomers. The‌ dates follow recent Australian tour announcements ‌for December 2024.

The ‍tour kicks⁢ off August 20th, 2026, at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY, with subsequent performances on August⁣ 21st and 22nd. ‍Prior to​ the New York shows, the band will perform at Meadow ​Creek in Buena Vista, Colorado on ‍August 14th, 16th as ⁢part of the Field of Vision II ⁢festival.

Earlier⁢ in December, King Gizzard & ‌the ⁤Lizard Wizard will perform in Australia: December 10th in Brisbane at‍ The Princess​ Theater, and December⁣ 12th and 13th in Melbourne at Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Supporting acts vary by date. The Meadow Creek performances will feature support⁣ from Party Dozen. The Melbourne shows include sets from Folk Bitch​ Trio and⁣ Barkaa, while the‍ Brisbane date will be joined by Destrends. Select performances will also feature orchestral accompaniment: the Brisbane show with ‍Queensland Symphony Orchestra,⁣ and the Melbourne shows with Orchestra Victoria, and the Sydney show with Sydney Symphony ‍Orchestra.

Snocaps Announce First Ever Tour Dates Following⁣ Surprise Debut Album Release

December 4, 2023 – ​ Indie rock fans are in for ⁢a treat! Snocaps, the newly formed band comprised of twin sisters Katie and ⁤Allison Crutchfield (of‌ Waxahatchee and Swearin’ respectively), ⁢alongside ​MJ Lenderman ⁢and⁣ Brad Cook, have announced their first-ever tour dates. This declaration comes hot on the heels of their⁢ surprise self-titled debut‍ album release, ⁢which has⁢ already garnered critical acclaim.

The mini-tour will kick off on⁢ December 1st and 2nd at Chicago’s Thalia Hall, with ​support ‍from Cloakroom and‌ Graham Hunt.⁣ Snocaps will then head west to Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom on​ December 4th and 5th, sharing the stage with Slippers and Mike Krol.​ The tour will conclude⁣ with two ‍nights at New York’s Bowery Ballroom on December 7th​ and 8th, featuring openers Brennan Wedl and Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band.

A Family Affair‍ & Established Collaborations

The Crutchfield sisters have⁤ a rich musical history together, dating back to their ⁤early collaborations in the lo-fi projects P.S. eliot ⁢and bad Banana. This new venture ⁣builds on a long-standing creative partnership.

The addition of Brad Cook and​ MJ Lenderman further solidifies Snocaps’ ‌musical pedigree. Cook is a longtime producer for Katie crutchfield’s critically acclaimed work‌ with Waxahatchee, having shaped the sound of numerous albums. Lenderman previously collaborated with Crutchfield on Waxahatchee’s 2022 album tigers Blood, notably contributing ⁣to the standout single⁤ “Right Back to It,” which‌ landed

Post-rock⁢ instrumental trio Dirty Three announced their first North American tour dates since 2012, ‌commencing March 20, 2025, in​ Portland, Oregon. ⁣The⁣ Australian band, ‌renowned for ⁢its dynamic interplay and emotionally resonant compositions, will traverse the United States and Canada before concluding April 11, 2025, in Montreal, Quebec.

The tour marks a significant return for Dirty Three, offering fans a rare opportunity to⁤ experience their ⁤captivating live ​performances after a thirteen-year hiatus⁤ from North American stages. Formed ‌in Melbourne in 1992,the⁢ group-featuring Mick Turner,Warren ​Ellis,and ​jim White-has cultivated a dedicated following through critically acclaimed albums ⁤and intensely ⁤focused shows. This extended run⁢ of dates follows a European leg beginning November ⁣29, 2024, in Glasgow, Scotland.
