philadelphia Expands Holiday Offerings โwith Wanamaker Light Show Market adn Made in โขPhilly Celebration
Philadelphiaโ is bolstering itsโ holiday traditions this year withโ expanded festive experiences,including a new market complementing โteh iconic Wanamaker Light Showโ and the return of the popular Made in Philadelphia Holiday market. These events aim too provide unique shopping opportunities and family-friendly entertainment throughout the holiday season.
A new market will open inside the Macy’s Center Cityโ building, offering aโข heated spaceโข for shoppers to discover unique gifts and art beyond the scheduled showings โof the Wanamaker Light show. The light โฃshow โitself will run every half-hour beginning at 12:30 โp.m., and the building’s โขthird-floor Dickens โฃVillage will also be open to visitors. Marketโ hours are Wednesday through Sunday, from noon to 8 p.m.
Across the street and within City Hall’s courtyard, the 11th annual Made in Philadelphia โขMarket will feature local โขvendors, a Ferris wheel, aโฃ carousel, โa train ride presented by SEPTA, and the official Philadelphia Christmas tree. “The Madeโ in philadelphia Holiday โMarket continues to highlightโ the best of our city’s creative spirit,” saeid Bauer.โข “We are proud to provide a space were local artisans can showcase their work and whereโค Philadelphians can find truly unique holiday treasures right in the heart of Center City.”
