The price of gold on foreign exchanges managed to cross the barrier of $2,000 an ounce, following the renewed investment panic among bank depositors once again.

The price of 21 carat gold has also increased by about 50 pounds, from 2140 pounds at the opening to 2190 pounds now.
18 karat gold price
The price of 18 carat gold increased by about 43 pounds per gram, from 1834 pounds at the opening to 1877 pounds now.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound rose 400 pounds from the morning price at 17120 pounds to 17520 pounds.
