Nikita Mirzaniโฃ expressed disappointment with PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), also known as BCA, โalleging the bank allowed partiesโค involvedโ in โฃa lawsuit โคagainst her to access her โaccount details [[1]]. This statement was made during a hearing regarding allegations โof extortion and money laundering (TPPU) atโ the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday,August 14 [[2]].
Responding to the claims,โ Heraโ F. Haryn, EVP Corporate Dialogue & Social Duty at BCA, stated the bank โcomplied with a legal request for data as a witness in the trial โค [[3]]. She emphasized that BCA, as a financial โinstitution,โ is obligatedโ to fulfill data requests โคfrom law enforcement officials in accordance with Indonesian law.
BCA furtherโ affirmed its respect forโ the โคongoing legal process and commitment to maintaining the security and confidentiality โof customer data, adhering toโค all applicable โฃlegal provisions [[1]].
The dispute arose during the trial where Nikita questioned Reza Gladys,the plaintiff โin the case,about his โฃaccess to her BCA checking account. Following the hearing, she โvoicedโฃ her dissatisfaction with BCA’s services, especially as a priority customer โข [[2]]. Sheโ claimed her account was improperly accessed, impacting funds intended for payments related to “Comic 8,” endorsements, and singingโ engagements [[3]].
