Gwangju, South Korea – November 30, 2025 - The ‘2025 Korea-Japan Singer King Concert’ concluded its successful run with a final performance at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju today. The tour, which began in Seoul and included stops in Daegu, showcased a vibrant fusion of Korean and Japanese trot music.
The concert series reimagined the popular broadcast competition as a live experience, featuring exclusive concert stages and unique reinterpretations of hit songs from both nations.Korean sensibilities were prominent with performances of Park Seo-jin’s ‘Float the Boat’ and ‘heung taryeong,’ Jin Hae-seong’s ‘Aju,’ Shin Seung-tae’s ‘Nocturne,’ and Kim Jun-su’s ‘Eusa Appearance.’
Japanese influences were also highlighted, including Jin Hae-seong’s renditions of ‘Dongbaek Inn’ and ‘Like a Flowing River,’ and Choi Su-ho’s performance of ‘Erotica Seven.’ the concert also featured Korean songs performed in the style of the Japanese cast,with Masaya covering ‘Oh,the Old Days,’ Juni performing ‘Dreaming of You’ and ’10 Minutes,’ and Shin interpreting ‘Every Day,Every Moment’ and ‘my Love Beside Me.’
Duet performances proved particularly popular, drawing enthusiastic applause for pairings such as Jin hae-seong & TAKUYA’s ‘Only You,’ Choi Su-ho & Juni’s ‘You in the Blurry Memories,’ and Shin Seung-tae & SHU’s ‘Snow Flower.’
