Many people want to transfer the videos they shoot on their mobile phone to their computer to make appropriate adjustments and then publish them on various social networking sites. But how do you transfer a video from an iPhone to a computer?

How to transfer a video from an iPhone to a computer using Microsoft Photos, according to Slashgear.

The first way to transfer a video from an iPhone to a computer is the simplest one. You don’t need to install an app or setup a cloud storage platform for this app. Alternatively, you can import the files from the Photos app on your Windows PC (via Microsoft). The Photos app comes pre-installed, which means it’s on every Windows laptop or desktop computer. And yes, this will be a wired transfer, so you’ll need a Lightning cable with the correct USB connector to connect it to your computer.

Unlock your iPhone.

Connect the Lightning cable to your iPhone and the other end to your computer.

Click Allow on the popup that says Allow this device to access your photos and videos.

On your PC, open the Start menu and select the Photos app.

Click Import and select From Connected Device.

From your iPhone select the “Choose a device to import from” prompt.

It may take a few moments for your computer to read the photos and videos on your iPhone. Once done, it will display the media files on your phone. Select the videos you want to import and choose where to save them on your computer. Finally, click the “Import Selected” button on the screen. Your computer will import the selected files within a few minutes.

How to transfer a video from an iPhone to a computer using File Explorer

Another way to import videos from iPhone to PC without hassle is through Windows Explorer or File Explorer. If you’ve been using a Windows laptop for some time, you’ll already be familiar with File Explorer, which makes this method even easier. To transfer your videos from iPhone to a computer using this app, you will need a USB cable.

Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.

On an iPhone, tap Allow on the prompt asking about sharing photos and videos on the connected device.

Open My Computer and select your iPhone’s name under “Devices and drives.”

Right-click on your iPhone and select “Import Photos and Videos”.

Wait a few minutes while your computer searches for photos and videos on your iPhone.

Select “Review, organize and group items to import”. Click Next.

Select the videos you want to import and click Import to transfer them from your iPhone to your computer.

Alternatively, you can click on the iPhone’s name under the “Hardware & Drivers” section, click on Internal Storage and select DCIM.

There, you will find the photos and videos on your iPhone stored in different folders. Select what you need, copy it, and then paste it to the destination folder on your computer.

How to use your phone to find hidden cameras

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com January 16, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Tell me – Many hotel guests are concerned that their rooms may have hidden cameras to spy on them, and fortunately, a smartphone can be used to detect these cameras.

If a camera wants to capture motion or take pictures in low-light or dark rooms, it usually uses infrared (IR) light, which the human eye cannot detect. However, even if you can’t see the infrared light emitted by the camera, the sensor in your smartphone camera should be able to.

In some phones, only the front camera can capture infrared light, and in others, like the Pixel 6, this works with both the front and rear cameras.

To search for cameras using your phone:

Turn on your phone’s camera and point it at the remote control.

Turn on the remote control and look for a small light, either steady or flashing.

If you’ve tried it with the back camera and don’t see the little light, try it with the front camera.

All you need to do now to check for an infrared-equipped camera is to make the room as dark as possible (so that if there is a camera, the infrared will be on), then slowly scan the room with your phone. If there is an active camera that lights up in infrared, you should be able to find it.

And if you are wondering if there is an active camera in your room and the infrared trick is not working (either because there is no camera or the camera is not equipped with infrared), there is another way you can find an active device to check what is connected to the local network.

There are a number of network analyzer applications that can find devices connected to your local network. You could try Fing (it’s available for both Android and iOS), but there are many more useful tools available. These apps can find and list all the devices on your network. These apps can also let you confirm which devices they recognize so that you can more easily find any that aren’t supposed to be there.

Of course, neither of these methods is foolproof, and they are just possible methods that you can try. And if you’re really worried, you can buy a radio frequency (RF) detector, which should pick up any signals coming from hidden microphones or cameras, according to The Verge.

Are there other planets suitable for life?.. Space scientists answer:: The Nabataeans

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com January 15, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

Nabataeans –

Two experts in space sciences, one American and the other Egyptian, agreed during their interview with “Sky News Arabia” that the discovery of a planet similar to Earth paves the way and brings the distance closer to reaching other planets suitable for human life..

And Thursday, it was announced that the “James Webb” space telescope of the US space agency “NASA” had discovered its first planet, and it turned out that it has rocky terrain and resembles our planet Earth..

The discovered planet is classified as outside the solar system, and it constitutes 99 percent of the Earth’s diameter, and although it has Earth-like terrain, scientists do not yet know whether it has an atmosphere..

And to answer the question of whether there are planets other than Earth suitable for human habitation? Is science and its tools qualified to detect those planets? Sky News Arabia directed to space and astronomers.

“There are approximately a trillion stars in our Milky Way galaxy. About 8% of these stars are similar to the Sun (most of the other stars are much smaller),” said Professor Owen Brian Tone, a professor at the Laboratory of Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado. About 20% likely have Earth-sized planets in the habitable zone (the distance from the sun at which a planet is warm enough to have liquid water on the surface).“.

He continued, “So there are over a billion Earth-like planets in our galaxy, and it’s just one of many. There’s probably at least one of these planets within ten light-years of us. We’re about to get the technology to find these.” Planets and start examining them to see if they have water in their atmospheres, and other gases that might indicate some kind of life“.

“Perhaps the next few decades will witness the discovery of such life, or at least evidence that it may exist. We hope that this discovery will bring people closer to each other on Earth because we all share a common ancestor or single roots“.

For his part, the head of the astronomy department at the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research in Egypt, Ashraf Shaker, said, “Monitoring a planet millions of light-years away is done in various astronomical ways, the simplest of which is the influence of the planet on the star’s light, at times when its light increases when its light is added to the star’s light, Sometimes it obscures some of the star’s light, such as the phenomena of eclipses and lunar eclipses“.

He added in his interview with “Sky News Arabia” that: “After the discovery of the planet, the chemical composition of this planet is analyzed, and we know its temperature, and does it have air, atmosphere, or any environment suitable for the presence of living organisms in it, or water, or is it suitable for human living?

Shaker continued, saying: “This is the most we can know about any planet, even if it is within the solar system and is light minutes away from us. To prove the existence of life, it is not a condition that you find creatures on the planet. Rather, by sending unmanned spacecraft, we can monitor the presence of buildings or Rivers or different manifestations of life“.

And he emphasized that: “We can also analyze meteorites and comets that visit Earth, and see if they contain bacteria, viruses, or water, and this is what happened with Mars when meteorites fell from it near the city of Alexandria at the beginning of the last century, and America discovered after that.” A hundred years ago, that meteorites were in the presence of water like ocean water, and since that date, the world sent many spacecraft to search for water on Mars, and they found traces of it.“.

He explained that: “The last planet that was discovered by the James Webb telescope is located 41 years away at the speed of light, and this means that a person needs the age of 82 years and walks at the speed of light to visit it for seconds, and this is impossible, but if Mars or the moon could live on them just as An event with the International Space Station in the event that the ingredients for life were available“.

He concluded: “The importance of the recently discovered planet lies in knowing how the planets are formed and the changes in their composition, and it gives us an idea of the past and present of the Earth and the solar system, and brings the distance towards discovering other planets that may have the ingredients for life.”“.

Security Council unanimously approves extension of aid transfer to Syria | News

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com January 10, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

video duration 02 minutes 21 seconds 02:21

Members of the United Nations Security Council unanimously agreed to extend the mechanism for providing humanitarian aid to millions of Syrians through the Bab al-Hawa crossing on the border with Turkey for a period of 6 months. Washington welcomed the decision, while Moscow has confirmed that its approval does not mean a change in its position.

The decision allows humanitarian aid to enter through the Bab al-Hawa crossing point without permission from the Syrian regime, and came as the Organization of Syria Response Coordinators announced that the number of people in need of humanitarian aid in Syria exceeded 15 people. millions.

For her part, the US representative to the United Nations, Linda Thomas Greenfield, welcomed the decision of the UN Security Council, and said that the mechanism should have been renewed for a year, not just for 6 months.

“The discussion we need is how to strengthen the mechanism to ensure that aid reaches more people. In the coming months, we need to show the Syrian people that we will continue to put their humanity first,” he added.

The US representative clarified that the needs are widespread across Syria and are greater than they have ever been.

On the other hand, the Russian delegate, Vasily Nebenzia, described the renewal decision as difficult, adding that the step should not be considered a change in Moscow’s principled position on the mechanism.

The Russian delegate added that Western delegations commend their efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Syria and avoid another very disturbing issue i.e. unilateral sanctions negatively affecting ordinary Syrians, considering that sanctions are the main factor behind the deterioration of the humanitarian situation.

Nebenzia believed that Western countries are working on purpose to ensure the aggravation of the situation and are trying hard to stop the process of normalization of the situation in the country to the maximum distort the efforts of the legitimate government, as he said.

The period of the previous UN mandate for the transfer of aid to Syria ends today, as the Security Council renewed the aid mechanism on July 12 for a period of only 6 months, under pressure from the Russian opposition, unlike previous times, when the mechanism was extended by one year.

The Security Council extends the mechanism to deliver aid to Syria through Turkey for 6 months

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com January 9, 2023
written by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

The United Nations Security Council unanimously approves the extension of the system of transporting aid to Syrian refugees through the Bab al-Hawa crossing, and the US delegate vows not to provide any support to government projects until a global agreement will be reached.

  • The Security Council unanimously agrees to extend the supply of aid to Syria through Turkey

The United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution extending the operation of the aid transportation system for displaced Syrians through the Bab al-Hawa crossing point for a period of six months, until 10 July 2023.

The formula for this agreement was reached between the members of the Council without changing this decision with respect to what was stated in the previous decisions on the matter. These decisions had underlined the need to increase aid in all lines and to support the first “recovery” projects.

For her part, the US delegate promised not to provide any support to government projects until a comprehensive deal is completed, according to her interpretation of UN Security Council resolutions, especially resolution 2254 .

Interestingly, UN Secretary-General António Guterres warned last month that the already deteriorating humanitarian situation in Syria was getting worse, in his report presented to the Security Council.

Guterres also said millions of Syrians could not survive the winter if aid shipments from Turkey to northwest Syria were not renewed next month, adding that cross-border aid to the northwest would still be an “indispensable part ” of humanitarian operations to reach all those in need.

Well, I mentioned Associated pressYesterday, Sunday, a convoy of 18 trucks entered the Idlib region through the front lines controlled by the Syrian army.

On Friday, the agency said 14 rescue trucks had passed from Turkey through the Bab al-Hawa border crossing, which is Idlib’s only land connection to the outside world.
