‘strictly Come Dancing’ โStar Stefanโ Dennis to Miss Weekend Performance Due to Illness
Stefan Dennis hasโ been advised to rest by doctors โคand will not dance on Saturday’s episode of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ with partner Dianne Buswell, a BBCโ spokesperson confirmed. โคThe news was shared onโ the show’s official Instagram page.
“Due to illness over the past few days, Stefan Dennis โhas been advised to rest and, as a result, โheโ will not dance this weekend,” theโค statement read. โ”In line with the rules of Strictly, Stefan and Dianne will โreceive a bye thru โto next week when they will hopefully โbe able to dance again.”
Producers added in a caption:โข “Stefan Dennis won’t be dancingโ on Saturday night due to illness. โฃWe wish him a speedy recovery and will hopefully see him back in the Ballroom with Dianneโข next week.”
Fans expressed support for the ‘Neighbours’ actor, known for his role as Paul Robinson. One fan wrote, โ”Hope you feel better โsoon, Stefan – you’ve been brilliant so far,” while another commented, “The competition won’t be the same without him โthis week.”

Dennis’s withdrawal follows other โขsetbacks โin the 2025 series. Love Island winner Dani Dyer previously hadโ to quit the competition after fracturing her ankle in rehearsals and โwas replaced byโ Amber Davies.
Recently, rumors circulated about Vicky Pattison potentially dropping out after she and partner Kai Widdrington missed an appearance on the ‘It Takes Two’ spin-off show. pattison clarified on Instagram that both she and Widdrington were unwell with a bug, stating, “Huge apologies to โฃanyone expecting to see me and Kai on It Takesโค Two tonight.โค Doing all we can โtoโ get back to our best and back to the training room asap.” She later confirmedโ she had not dropped out of the show.
