Penn state Running Back nicholas Singleton Revives Career with Breakout performance Against โฃIndiana
STATE COLLEGE, PA – Penn State running back Nicholas โSingleton appearsโฃ to have โrediscovered his form, culminating โin a dominant performance against Indiana and a return to โconsistent production.After a period โof struggling to โreplicate his early success,โ Singleton brokeโ through in the fourth quarter โฃagainst the Hoosiers, ignitingโฃ a spark that has revitalized bothโ his individual game and the Nittany Lions’ โoffense.
Trailing 20-10โค at the start of the fourth quarter, โคSingleton exploded for a long run, reaching โthe 1-yard line before being tackled. Thisโ play, described by teammate Ethanโข Grunkemeyer as a moment where “you coudl just feel the energy,” marked a turning point. Singleton โcapped the drive with a โข1-yard touchdown, his second of the game and the 41st of his career, placing him second on Penn State’s all-time rushing touchdowns list behind Saquon Barkley (43).
