SANTA โCLARA, CA – October 24, 2025 – โNvidia and Uber are โคcollaborating to accelerate theโ growthโข and deployment of Level 4 โขautonomousโฃ driving technology, building onโฃ NvidiaS AI infrastructure and Uber’s mobility platform. Theโ partnership aims to leverage advancements in artificial intelligence to navigate complex real-world scenarios and โachieve scalable autonomy.
Nvidia’s approach centers โคon several key AI โinnovations, as โฃdetailedโค in an October 20 company blog post, “How AI Is Unlocking Level 4 Autonomous Driving.” These include foundation models – which utilize internet-scale knowledgeโข to generalize from vast training data – and end-to-end architectures, allowing a single network โto process sensorโ inputs directly into driving decisions.
Simulation plays aโฃ critical role, with nvidia’s cosmos Predict andโข Transfer systems โgenerating diverse virtual environments to “practice” โขmillions of edge โcases. This is supported by Nvidia’s โขDRIVE and DGX compute platforms, which handle the training, testing, and deployment of AI driving models.
