Vettel, who drove for red Bull from 2009 to 2014, winning his titles under horner’s leadership, stated Horner leaves “big footsteps” within the organization.
Horner’s exit follows an internal investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior, ultimately leading to a settlement agreement with Red Bull. Aston Martin team principal Andy Cowell revealed that team owner Lawrence Stroll had been contacted by Horner, indicating a proactive effort to secure a future position. However, Cowell affirmed that Aston Martin currently has no plans to involve Horner in any operational or investment capacity. “It looks as though Christian is ringing up pretty much every team owner at the moment,” Cowell said ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix. “I can clearly say there are no plans for the involvement of Christian in an operational or investment role in the future.”
