written by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

Samsung‘s Frame Pro TV ⁣Reaches⁣ New ⁣All-Time Low During Prime Big Deal Days

The Samsung 75-inch Frame Pro Neo ‌QLED 4K UHD smart TV is currently available for $2,197.99 ‍at both Amazon and‍ Best Buy, a $1,400 discount and the lowest price on record, according to deals tracked during Amazon’s Prime‍ Big ⁢Deal Days event. The television uniquely blends television functionality with art display, operating in “Art Mode” when not ⁤in use to showcase a rotating gallery of artwork.

The Frame Pro distinguishes itself from traditional TVs⁢ with its ⁣matte QLED panel, designed to minimize glare ⁢and present ⁣artwork ‌more authentically. While ⁣Art Mode is a key ⁣feature, access to the full art library requires a $50 annual subscription to the Art Store, which Samsung notes is ⁣subject to change. The TV includes both a stand and ‍a wall mount.

Beyond its artistic ‌capabilities, the Frame Pro features a unique connectivity setup with a Wireless One Connect Box housing four HDMI ports, two USB-A⁢ ports, a coaxial port, Ethernet port, and optical ‍audio port. However, the system introduces some latency, making it less ideal for fast-paced gaming. The television has ⁢only one HDMI port built-in.

Early Black Friday⁤ Deals Heat Up with Discounts‍ on Streaming Devices and TVs

October ‌4, 2024, ⁣8:44 PM EST – ‌Consumers ⁢looking to upgrade their home entertainment systems can find early Black Friday savings on a range of televisions and streaming‌ devices, with discounts emerging from major manufacturers like Sony, samsung, and TCL, as well as deals on Amazon’s Fire ⁣TV Stick HD.These initial price drops signal⁣ a ⁢potentially aggressive holiday shopping ⁤season, offering opportunities ‌for early⁣ savings ahead of⁢ the traditional November sales event.

The burgeoning discounts arrive as retailers attempt to⁢ capture consumer spending earlier in ⁣the season, responding to⁣ shifting shopping habits and ongoing economic pressures. While ‌larger television sets⁢ typically see significant price reductions during black Friday,⁢ these ‌preliminary offers on streaming devices and smaller TVs provide ⁢an‌ immediate benefit for budget-conscious shoppers and those seeking to outfit secondary ‍rooms. The Amazon Fire TV Stick HD, for example, is⁤ currently available for $18-a $17 reduction from its list price-matching ⁤its lowest price recorded to date.

Engadget reports that‌ the ‍Fire TV stick HD, while a budget-friendly option, streams in⁣ up to 1080p resolution and features a slower processor and 1GB of RAM compared to its 4K counterparts. Despite ⁤these limitations, it remains a viable solution for adding ⁣streaming capabilities to older televisions or basic monitors.

These early deals‌ follow a⁤ trend of ⁤extended sales‌ periods, with retailers launching promotions earlier ‍each‍ year to spread out demand and ⁣mitigate supply ‍chain challenges. ⁢Experts anticipate further‍ price cuts across various‌ product‌ categories in the coming weeks, culminating in the peak shopping⁢ days around Black Friday (November 29, ⁤2024) and cyber Monday (December 2, 2024).

Samsung Galaxy Buds Core: AI Interpreter TWS Review

by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor October 2, 2025
written by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

Samsung Galaxy Buds Core ‍Now ⁣Features Real-Time ⁣Translation for Just Rp700,000

Jakarta, Indonesia -⁤ Samsung has quietly launched a groundbreaking feature for its Galaxy Buds Core true wireless ‌earbuds: real-time translation powered by Galaxy AI. Available now for approximately ⁢Rp700,000, the Buds Core can translate languages on the fly, ‍opening up new possibilities for international communication and⁤ content consumption.

This ⁤progress dramatically lowers the barrier ⁤to entry for accessible translation technology. Previously requiring expensive devices or dedicated ‍apps, the Buds core’s interpreter and live translation features‍ allow users to understand foreign language videos, participate in multilingual seminars, and engage in seamless conversations with speakers of other languages – all without constantly looking at ⁣a phone screen. ⁢A single tap on an earbud activates‍ voice mode, delivering‌ translated ‌audio directly to the user.

The Buds Core’s conversation mode⁤ facilitates two-way communication, ⁢instantly translating spoken words between users in ‍both text and audio formats. Samsung claims translation from English to Indonesian yields the most optimal results,⁢ with Galaxy AI ensuring ‌contextual accuracy and near-instantaneous processing.⁢ The earbuds support a variety of languages, making them a ⁤versatile tool for travelers, students, and anyone seeking to bridge linguistic divides.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7: New Competitor Threatens Ultra Line

by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor October 1, 2025
written by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor

Samsung’s ‍galaxy Z Fold⁣ 7 Gains Traction, Perhaps at ⁤the‍ Expense of Ultra Sales

PARIS – Samsung is experiencing strong market interest in its newly released Galaxy Z Fold‍ 7, but the foldable’s success ‍is raising concerns about potential sales cannibalization⁣ within the company’s ⁤own‍ product⁢ line, ‌specifically its⁣ historically profitable Galaxy S Ultra ⁣series.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 boasts improvements including⁢ a thinner and lighter design, utilizing ⁢a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, up to 16 GB of ⁤RAM, and a‍ 200-megapixel main ⁣sensor. Durability has been enhanced with a‍ new‍ Armor ‍FlexHinge, Gorilla glass Ceramic 2, and ⁢an IP48 certification⁣ for water and dust resistance. While S Pen support has been dropped to prioritize a slimmer profile, the device integrates AI-powered features like Photo Assist and Transcript Assist.

Samsung acknowledges a shift in consumer ⁣preference, with buyers previously opting⁢ for the Galaxy S Ultra now ‌increasingly choosing the Fold 7. ⁤This trend presents ⁤a challenge for samsung, requiring a ⁢re-evaluation ⁣of its ⁤product catalog to maintain the strength of its Ultra ‌line.

“The question for Samsung is‌ therefore⁣ no longer whether foldables can convince the general public – the answer is now clear – but how to manage cohabitation ⁤with its customary flagship products,” the report states.

The Galaxy ‌Z Fold 7 represents⁣ a turning point for foldable ‌smartphones, transitioning them from niche, high-end curiosities to viable alternatives to conventional models with broader consumer appeal.

Galaxy Ring Battery Swelling: User Suffers Swollen Battery Emergency

by Rachel Kim – Technology Editor September 30, 2025

Galaxy Ring Battery Issue Forces Traveler to Hospital,Misses Flight

A Samsung⁤ Galaxy Ring reportedly swelled while ‍being worn, causing a user to require medical ‍assistance to remove the device and ultimately miss a scheduled flight. The incident, first ‌reported‍ by tech creator Daniel (@ZONEofTECH)⁤ on X (formerly Twitter), highlights potential battery concerns with Samsung’s newly released smart ‍ring.

Daniel shared photos on ‌september 21, 2024, ‌showing the ring visibly bulging against his finger. He initially ‌posted about the swelling as he was preparing ⁢to⁢ board⁢ a flight, noting the ring was ⁤painful and could not be removed, and tagged ⁣Samsung accounts for help. A subsequent close-up photo revealed the inner casing separating.

Samsung UK responded to Daniel on X, expressing regret and requesting a direct message ⁣to escalate ‌the⁤ issue.

In an update posted a few hours later, Daniel stated he was denied boarding, taken‌ to a⁢ hospital, and required medical intervention to remove the ring.‍ Hospital staff used ice to reduce swelling and lubricant to⁢ slide the ‌device off‍ his finger, ‌after attempts ‌with⁣ soap and hand cream ⁤at the airport worsened the situation and⁢ caused further expansion of‍ the battery.

Photos taken after removal show the Galaxy Ring’s internal components visibly distorted.‍ Daniel stated he “Won’t be wearing a smart ring ‌ever ⁢again.” It remains unclear whether any damage to the internal components⁢ occurred during the removal process.

The Galaxy Ring, Samsung’s first smart ring which debuted in‌ July ⁤2024, received a review from Android Authority noting underwhelming battery life. This incident raises more serious concerns about battery safety, even if it appears⁢ isolated at this time.

Android Authority⁤ has reached out to both the affected user and Samsung for comment.
