PS plus Essential Games for December 2025 Announced
playstation Plus Essential subscribers will have three new โฃgames to download in December 2025:โ LEGO Horizon โAdventures,โ The Outlast Trials, and Neon White.
LEGO Horizon Adventures,โข a kid-kind adaptation of Sony’s horizon series, leads the lineup. Push Square’s review awarded the โtitleโ a โข6/10, noting its “charming” translation โof the source โขmaterial but criticizing its “vacant and repetitive” level design. The โขreview concluded: “On the one hand, this is a charming, kid-friendly take on Sony’s popular series that โsuccessfully translates the story, characters, โคandโฃ combat intoโ the LEGO realm – โคand with real visual polish โคtoโ boot. On the other, once the novelty โฃwears off, โคlevel design โฃfeels vacant and โrepetitive, almost never engaging youโฃ with the sort of platforming orโ puzzle solving you might expect.”
Also available will be The Outlast Trials, a multiplayer spin-off ofโ the survival horror series. Receiving a 7/10 score from Push Square, theโฃ game was praised for successfully adapting the series’ formula for co-op play. “It may not be the next single player terror fans of โคits predecessors areโฃ lookingโค for, but the Outlast Trials โฃsuccessfullyโฃ translates the series’ formula for a co-op setting. โขHiding from gory psychopaths and โutilising night vision isโฃ stillโ the name โคof theโค game – now you simply do it alongside up toโข three friends online,” the โreview stated.
Rounding out the Decemberโ 2025 selectionโฃ is โค Neon โขWhite, a run-based platformer. push Square awarded Neon White an 8/10, โhighlightingโข its “slick, stylish, and modern” design and “compulsion to beat each level as fast asโ possible.”
