Neubrandenburg Police Investigate Serial Shoplifter Who Changed clothes During theft Spree
Neubrandenburg, Germany – Police in Neubrandenburg are investigating an 18-year-old man of Somali origin following a series of shoplifting incidents where the suspect allegedly altered his appearance by stealing new clothing during his spree. The thefts occurred yesterday at multiple stores in the city center, including locations on the market square and the Yuri Gagarin Ring.
The suspect was initially observed by police officers responding to a reported theft at a clothing store on the market square.During the inquiry,officers discovered the man was in possession of additional stolen items – a complete change of clothes taken from other businesses. The total value of the stolen goods, including clothing and a bottle of perfume, is estimated at approximately 250 euros. Affected businesses have been notified.
authorities report the man appeared to be systematically stealing outfits, allowing him to completely change his appearance while evading detection. He is currently being investigated for multiple counts of shoplifting.
