Polar has released firmware update 5.1.3 for its Ignite 3 smartwatch, the company announced February 25th. The update, available via the Flow app or FlowSync on a computer, focuses on improving battery performance and resolving a speed unit bug.
According to Polar, the update addresses an issue where speed measurements were displayed incorrectly in training summaries and pause mode when the speed unit was set to minutes per kilometer. Beyond this fix, the release includes other minor updates and bug corrections, though specific details remain undisclosed.
The 5.1.3 firmware follows a major update earlier this year, Polar OS 5, which introduced new alarm functions, additional widgets and a revised pause mode view. The Ignite 3 is currently priced at €319.93 on Amazon.
