Pokémon Fans, Get Ready: Frist Permanent Theme Park to Open in Tokyo
tokyo, Japan – A new era for Pokémon fans begins February 5, 2026, with the grand opening of PokéPark Kanto, the first permanent pokémon theme park. Located within the existing Yomiuriland amusement park in Tokyo, Japan, PokéPark Kanto will be accessible with an additional park pass.
Unlike previous limited-time Pokémon attractions, PokéPark Kanto promises a lasting immersive experience. visitors will enter through a “Pokémon Research Lab” building, leading to two distinct zones: Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town.
Pokémon Forest aims to recreate natural Pokémon habitats, featuring hills, paths, rocky trails, and tunnels populated with Pokémon statues depicted in dynamic poses – battling, playing, and more.
Sedge town will function as the park’s central hub,housing a Pokémon Center and Poké Mart for visitor convenience. Beyond the core areas, PokéPark Kanto will offer dedicated attractions including Pika Pika Paradise, a ride showcasing over 30 Electric-type Pokémon, and Vee Vee Voyage, a carousel with carriages pulled by Ponyta and rapidash, alongside Eevee-themed balloon rides.
