Path โof Exile 2: Boss Rush Mode Steals the Show at Gamescom, New Patch Incoming
Cologne,โ Germany – Level Infinite’s Path of Exile 2 booth at Gamescom 2025 is generating significant buzz thanks โto the debut of โits new “Boss Rush”โค mode. Attendees are gettingโค hands-on โฃtime with the challenging addition, competing to defeat the most bosses and claim aโ spot on the โคbooth’s leaderboard, along with exclusive rewards.
The Boss Rush mode was created to cater to playersโ seekingโ a high-intensity challenge, tasking them with conquering a gauntlet of formidable โฃfoes. Players will utilize pre-builtโ character builds, navigating through waves of enemies before facing each boss. Successfully defeating a boss unlocks a portal to the next,culminating in a total of 15 bossโ encounters -โข many of which areโข entirely new to the Path of Exile universe.
Early access toโ Pathโฃ of Exile 2 began late last year,and theโข Bossโค Rush mode adds a new dimension โขto the experience. โSuccess in the โฃmode demandsโ not only skillful gameplay but also a deep understanding of each class’s abilities and, crucially, the attack patterns and behaviors of each boss. strategic evasion โand proactive skill usage areโ key to survival.
Beyond the Boss Rush, โGrindingโ Gear Games has announcedโ the upcoming 0.3.0 patch, titled “Third Edict.” This update introduces content fromโข Act 3, sendingโข players to explore the seas and offering a โnon-linear approach to story progression, allowing players to choose which area to โคtackle first.
The patch also streamlinesโ access to Endgameโฃ content, removing the requirementโฃ to complete the game on Cruel difficulty. Significant improvements โhaveโข been made to the support Gemโ system, โimpacting all classes and โenhancing overall gameplay.
