The G06 Power aims to address the growing consumer demand for extended battery life in mobile devices, offering a significant advantage for users who heavily rely on their smartphones throughout the day. Alongside the Power variant, Motorola also released a standard G06 model, providing consumers with options based on their individual needs and budgets. Both phones share core specifications but differ in battery capacity and charging speeds.
Both the G06 and G06 Power feature a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD display with IPS technology and a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 600 nits. Photography is handled by a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Both devices are IP64 rated for dust and splash resistance and include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.Under the hood, both models are powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, fabricated on a 12nm process and featuring an octa-core CPU configuration: two Cortex-A75 cores clocked up to 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores reaching 1.7 GHz. The phones will be available with 4GB or 8GB of RAM and storage options of 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB.
While the G06 Power offers the larger 7,000 mAh battery and is available in Pantone Laula Oak and Pantone Tapestry colors, it is limited to 18W charging. The standard G06 features a 5,200 mAh battery with 10W charging support and comes in Pantone Arabesque, Pantone Tapestry, and Pantone Tendril color options. motorola states the G06 Power’s battery cells are designed to retain at least 80% of their original capacity after 1,000 charge cycles.
