The rain is over, but the situation in eastern Austria, especially in Lower Austria, remains tense. Now that the cleanup work is beginning, the extent of the damage is only becoming visible. Many people are faced with the ruins of their existence and are now dependent on help. Bank99 also wants to make a contribution to this and is now offering a consumer loan with preferential conditions for private customers with a quota of 10 million euros (financing subject to a positive loan decision).

But all those who have been personally affected by the floods and have lost all of their belongings will have to struggle with the consequences for months to come. Our deepest condolences go out to all of you. We at bank99 also want to support – especially where insurance benefits do not take effect quickly enough or are sufficient, or where flood relief from the disaster fund is not enough. We therefore offer those affected a special loan with preferential conditions to quickly bring some normality back into their lives. “

The bank99 offer will be available from October 1, 2024 and probably until the end of the year in all post offices via the bank99 bank supervisors. Appointments can be booked directly via the website or by telephone. Those affected from the flooded areas only need a written confirmation of damage, e.g. from the city/municipality or the insurance company, and can therefore take out a loan of up to a maximum of 50,000 euros at the discounted conditions of minus 1 percent on the bank’s regular conditions. There are no other fees, such as account management or processing fees.
