Marshall Amplifies Homeโ Audio with New, Repairable Soundbar & Subwoofer
New โฃYork, NY – September 19, 2024 -โ Marshall, best known for its โฃiconic amplifiers, โขis entering the premium homeโฃ audio market with the Heston 60 soundbar and Heston Sub โค200 subwoofer, both boasting a mid-century modern aesthetic and a focusโ on repairability – a rarity in today’s consumer electronics landscape. The new products, โฃlaunching September 23rd, aim toโค deliver high-fidelity sound with a design that โwouldโ appeal to โคeven the most discerning audiophile, or advertising executive.
The Heston 60 distinguishes โฃitself with versatile โคmounting options, utilizing waveguides and angled drivers for wall or TV stand placement. A reversibleโ control panel and โคmagnetic Marshall โฃlogo further customize the soundbar’s orientation. However, perhaps the most notable โfeature is Marshall’s commitment to longevity: the Heston 60 is designed with replaceable parts, including the speaker grill (“fret”), end caps, drivers, and circuit boards, addressing the growing concern of โฃelectronic waste andโข planned obsolescence.
Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 eARC,โ aโ 3.5mm โjack, and Bluetooth 5.3, alongside compatibility withโข AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. The soundbarโ also features dedicated sound modes – Music, Movie, Voice, and Night – with theโ latter designed to reduce loud sound effects and โคmaintain clear dialogโ forโฃ late-night listening.
Complementing โthe Heston 60 is the Hestonโ Sub 200, a wireless subwoofer mirroring the soundbar’s design language and repairable components. The subwoofer is also compatible with Marshall’s existing โฃHeston 120 soundbar.
Both the Heston 60 โขand Heston Sub 200 will be available for purchaseโข starting September 23rd, pricedโ at โ$699 and $599 respectively.
