Rally Planned in Naples, NY Following Alleged Social Media Posts After Charlieโค kirk’s Death
Naples, NY – September 17, 2025 – A rally is planned in naples, New York, to โdemand accountability regarding alleged social media posts made by a Naples school โdistrict staff member following โthe death of Charlie Kirk on February 28, 2019, โin Oxon Hill,โฃ Maryland.
The staff member was placed on โadministrative โleave pending an investigation into the alleged posts,which โคreportedly referenced the shooting of Kirk. According to a statementโ from the district superintendent,a formal investigation is underwayโ and will adhere to district policies and procedures.
The identity of the staff memberโ has โnot been officially released to โฃthe public, nor has the โฃspecific โฃcontent of the alleged posts been disclosed.The Democrat and โคchronicle reports it is indeed working to โขconfirm the identity of theโฃ individual identified by a โgroup organizing the rally and is seeking aโ response. A name is also circulating on social โmedia.
The groupโ organizing the rally is callingโฃ for more than just a suspension. Rally organizer Matt Crane stated that the “level of disregardโ for human life” demonstratedโ by the alleged posts warrants permanent termination. He described โขthe posts as “profanity-laced” andโ “hate-filled rhetoric.”
“We are seeking accountability and willโ not stop until โthatโ is achieved,” Crane said. โ
The groupโ has received what Crane described as “amazing” support and intends to have speakers address attendeesโข at the rally, though the โspeakers’ identities โคhave not yet been โฃrevealed.
“We believe itโ is time for people to stand up for what is rightโฃ and moral,” Crane stated.”In a sense those of us โwho hold to the foundations of morality, ethics โand integrity are all Charlie Kirks.”
A similar situationโ recently arose in the LeRoy school district.A teacher there was placed โon administrative leave after inappropriateโ and inflammatoryโข social media posts wereโ discovered on a private account. The teacher later apologized and reportedโ the account had been deleted.
