The integration streamlines the route discovery process by allowing users to initiate searches within the ChatGPT interface. By typing “@komoot” followed by their desired route criteria, users can receive curated recommendations drawn from Komoot’s database of over 7 million routes and 4 million community highlights. Selected routes can then be transferred directly to the Komoot application for offline navigation and further editing.
This partnership marks a novel application of OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology within the outdoor activity planning sector.
