Merdeka Gold Resources IPO Priced at Rp2,880 per Share, Raising Rp4.65 Trillion
Jakarta, Indonesia – PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk. (Gold) has set the final price for its Initial Public Offering (IPO) at Rp2,880 per share, nearing the top end of its previously announced range of Rp1,800 – Rp3,020. The offering,detailed in an additional prospectus dated September 16,2025,is poised to inject Rp4.65 trillion (approximately $295 million USD) into the company.
The IPO will see the release of 10% of new shares, totaling 1,618,023,300 pieces.A strong consortium of seven securities firms are underwriting the offering,including PT Indo Premier Sekuritas,PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk.,PT Sinarmas Sekuritas,UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas,Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia,OCBC Indonesian Securities,and Amantara Sekuritas Indonesia.
The company received an effective statement from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on September 15, 2025, paving the way for a public offering period scheduled for September 17-19, 2025. Listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is currently slated for September 23, 2025.
Funds Allocation: Debt Reduction and Operational Investment
The substantial capital raised will be strategically allocated. Approximately Rp3.88 trillion will be used to reduce outstanding debt to its parent company, Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk. (MDKA), with the current principal amount standing at Rp4.2 trillion as of September 10, 2025.
Furthermore, US$20 million (equivalent to Rp329.2 billion) will be invested as capital into PT Pani Bersama, supporting the procurement of raw materials and covering employee costs. An additional US$20 million will be allocated as a loan to PT Puncak Emas Tani Sejahtera.
