nvidia and Uber Announce Partnership to Bring AI Capabilities to Ride-Sharing and Delivery
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – May 9, 2024 – Nvidia and Uber today announced a multi-year strategic partnership to accelerate the progress and deployment of โฃartificial intelligence (AI) technologies across Uber’s ride-sharing and delivery platforms.The collaboration will leverage Nvidia’s Grace Hopper Superchip and โAIโ software to power uber’s in-house machine learning models, enhancing experiences for both drivers and riders.
This partnership arrives as demand for AI-powered services surges across industries, and specifically within transportation. Uber intends to โutilize Nvidia’s technology to improve its forecasting models for more efficient dispatch, personalize rider experiences, and enhance safety features. The deal represents a significant investment in the futureโ of AI-drivenโ logistics and โcould reshape the competitive landscape for ride-hailing and delivery services.
