Bellevigne-les-Chรขteaux‘s โขPetites Canaillesโ leisure center is experiencing a surge inโ demand this autumn, operating at full capacity โฃforโข theโ current two-week schoolโ holiday period. The program offers a diverse rangeโค of activities for local children, fromโฃ creative workshops to community outreach.
Theโฃ center is accommodating sixty children โคtotal, splitโ into two age โgroups: thirty youngstersโค aged โ3-6 and thirty aged 6-11. Each group โฃbenefits from the supervision of four dedicated facilitators. While staffing โขis โgenerally robust, โdirectorโค Celia Lucidi noted slight reductions on two specific daysโข during the period. “There are onyl two days where there are a little less staff,” she explained.
A central theme of the vacationโข program is imaginary animals, inspiring numerous activities designed to spark creativity. Children will also โhave โขthe opportunity to explore local historyโข withโข a planned excursion โto Fontevraud Abbey. Further enriching the schedule are introductory karate lessonsโ and a Halloween-themed โevening specifically โfor 8-11 yearโค olds.
Looking ahead, the center has partnered with โฃthe Saint Cyr-en-Bourg medical center to host nutrition workshops on October โค27th and 30th, geared โคtowards โchildren agedโค 6-11. A community-focused event is โalso planned for โคOctober โ29th,โ where a small group will visit the croix-Verte nursing home in Saumur to celebrateโ Halloween โwithโ residents. The program culminates in a special Halloween dayโ festivity on October 31st.
