‘Halloween: The Game’ Confirmed for Septemberโฃ 2026 Release, โฃNew Trailerโ unveiled
Horror fans mark your calendars: โขIllFonic andโ gun Interactive’s Halloween will arrive on PlayStation โข5, Xbox series X|S, and PC on september 8, 2026. The proclamation, made during the Sony โState of โPlay presentation, comes alongside a brand-new gameplay trailer showcasing โthe asymmetric stealth horror experience.
Halloween plunges players into โคthe terrifying โworld of Haddonfield, Illinois, allowing them to either survive as a civilian or embody the iconic Michael โMyers. This asymmetrical horror sandbox challenges players to eitherโ protect townsfolk, scavenge for resources, and call forโ help, or stalk and eliminate victims โusing Myers’ signature โฃabilities like Shape jump.
The game aims to deliver a chilling tribute โto John Carpenter’s original โฃ1978 classic, โฃoffering โboth single โขand multiplayer modes.”Our โgoal is to push โฃthe horrorโ experience to the โคnextโ level with single and multiplayer modes so players can get the most out of the game,” said IllFonic CCO Jared Gerritzen. “Whether they become the boogeyman orโข fight toโข protect โMichael Myers’ victims,โฃ Halloween promises an โunforgettable battle of fear and survival.”
Adding an extra layer of authenticity, the game will feature motion capture performed byโค Nick Castle, the original actor who portrayed Michael Myersโค in the 1978 film. Halloween will be โavailable on PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store, Xbox Series X|S โขvia the Xbox Store,โ and PC through Steam andโ theโ Epic Gamesโ Store.
