Longtime chairman of the Danish Conservative People’s Party Søren Pape Poulsen has died at the age of 52.

Party secretary Søren Vandsø says in the announcement published on the party’s website that Poulsen died of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Poulsen reportedly collapsed on Friday in the middle of his party’s event, after which he was rushed to the hospital. He died on Saturday at 1:13 p.m.

– He fell in the middle of what he dedicated his life to. The last thing he did was a big round of applause from his fellow party members, Vandsø wrote.

Poulsen led the party from 2014 until his death. He served as Denmark’s Minister of Justice in 2016–2019.

The Conservative People’s Party currently has ten seats in the Danish Parliament.

According to press reports, the medical evacuation plane has traveled to Malaysia, where King Harald of Norway is currently recovering from an infection.

The SAS airline’s medical evacuation plane has traveled to Malaysia’s Langkawi, news reports VG. The 87-year-old King Harald of Norway fell ill with an infection during his trip to Malaysia and the monarch is still recovering in a local hospital.

It has not been confirmed from the court whether the medical machine is on its way to take the king back to his homeland. The Norwegian Defense Forces are ready to support air traffic in the coming days.

– We cannot comment on the time or the type of transport for security reasons. This applies to all our missions, Lieutenant Colonel Stine Barclay commented to the Norwegian VG– publication.

The Norwegian Court announced earlier this week that the king is recovering but will spend a few more days in hospital. The king has been treated by both local and Norwegian doctors.

– The goal is for the king to be able to fly home in a few days. The government organizes the transportation and the Norwegian Defense Forces is responsible for the practical arrangements for the return trip, Hovi announced.

Tuija Pehkonen’s second birth was a rough experience. Inka Soveri

– The weeks we spent in the hospital are the scariest of my life so far, and it’s still hard to talk about it. I am really grateful to the Finnish medical care that we are both alive, Pehkonen says in the interview with Anna.

– I learned last year that there can always be absolutely terrible things waiting around the corner. I suddenly fell ill and was about to die. After that, I can no longer fear the future. I prefer to believe that good things can also be expected around the corner with just as much probability, says Pehkonen in an interview.

A 79-year-old woman from Savoie went to the emergency room on a March evening in 2019 due to a high fever and severe pain.

The specialist on duty assessed that the woman was not in immediate need of hospital treatment and discharged her.

The woman died at home the next day.

The specialist was accused of negligent breach of duty and wrongful death in the district court of Pohjois Savo.

Restless duty

The specialist doctor told the court that the woman had applied to the emergency room due to flu symptoms and a painful shoulder. According to the doctor, the woman was stressed in the restless emergency room and hoped to get home herself.

According to the woman’s relatives, the woman was sent home from the emergency room, because there was a shortage of beds. They were not with the woman in the hospital, but heard about this from her herself.

Valvira gave the specialist a note. Based on the patient’s symptoms, the doctor should have been able to suspect blood poisoning and take this into ward monitoring.

The causal connection was not shown

The district court of Pohjois Savo also considered that the doctor made a wrong assessment. According to the law, a man who worked as a specialist for almost 20 years should not have listened to the patient’s own wish for repatriation.

The court found the doctor to have acted negligently and sentenced him to a fine for negligent breach of duty.

Instead, the court rejected the charge of manslaughter.

It was not shown that there was a causal connection between the doctor’s negligence and the woman’s death, as intended by the law, and that the woman would have died the next day specifically due to the doctor’s negligence.

25 daily fines make the man’s income a total of 1,825 euros.

The judgment is not binding.

Juhani Palmu’s health has improved, even though the situation looked inconsolable at first.

Juhani Palmu is known for spectacular works of art. TOM WAS

Last week, the artist was admitted to the hospital in critical condition Juhani Palmu79, made it back home today, Friday.

He has been treated at the bed ward of the Lapua Health Center. Palmu was diagnosed with heart failure and pneumonia, which is why fluid and mucus were removed from the lungs.

Palmu answers the phone with a calm but strong voice considering the situation.

– Hello, hello, Juhani here, we’re at home. I’m really happy to get home and get through it.

He describes the trip to the hospital as really tough.

– It was a rough trip and quite an ordeal. I thought it was time to go, because even the doctors were very uncertain about how I was doing.

When asked how Juhan’s pains were compared to the pains caused by burns, he says that the situation was much worse now.

– The pains were severe, I was really sick, I was afraid I was going to die, these pains can’t even be compared to the previous ones. Fortunately, I survived once again.

Juhania was waiting at home Leila– along with his wife, Susu-kissa with five kittens. It drew Juhan’s mouth into a smile.

– Everyone was there, it felt really good. Now we calm down and just be together.

“Sleepless nights”

Thanks to the treatment, Palmu’s blood values have also improved. The artist’s wife, Leila Palmu, is full of happiness thanks to her husband’s return home.

– It feels incredible, Juhani was still fighting for his life a few days ago. This is a complete miracle, I was already completely sure that he will not come home again. Fortunately, he still had days to live, says Leila, her voice trembling.

Juhani’s hospital stay was very difficult for Leila.

– Sleepless nights are over. The worst part was the huge worry about what was going to happen. During that time, I dreaded every phone call, because I was afraid I would hear bad news from the hospital.

He says he is humbled and grateful for the extra time they get to spend together.

Important support

Although there is now reason to be happy in Kauhavan’s Alahärmä, Leila is not planning any more special celebrations in honor of Juhan’s homecoming.

– The main thing is that we can finally be together in peace. I am so happy that he is still here, because Juhani has always been the biggest support for me, as well as the other way around.

Leila also remembers Juhan’s support over the years regarding business operations.

– Even though I have received all kinds of ideas and thoughts, he has always supported and encouraged me. Without him, my entrepreneurial path would have been much rockier. Luckily he’s still here.

The litter born this week by Palmuje’s funny cat brings extra joy to the homecoming.

– Hassu made five puppies. Funny is specifically Juhan’s cat, it always sleeps with him, so I think it is also very happy to come to Juhan’s home.

Bad burns

Over the years, Juhani has had tough headwinds in terms of health.

Palmu has bladder cancer, for which the next examinations are on February 23.

He had to have the fingers of his left hand amputated due to burns. In addition, his left leg has been amputated above the knee.

The burns occurred in 2021 when the air mattress of Palmu’s electric bed caught fire. Fortunately for the artist, there were close friends who saved him from the flames. However, Palmu’s condition was very serious, and his heart stopped twice during the treatment.

Palmu had a very serious accident in 2017 as well. He had to have nine of his toes amputated due to burns. At that time, the newspaper lit by the candle caught fire on Palmu’s pants in the couple’s previous home.

Long life together

Juhani and Leila have been together for a long time. Love has meant a lot to the artist.

– After all, 78 years is a long time, a lot of life has been lived. At the same time, I am really happy that I have Leila, yesterday Thursday we turned eighteen years married, Juhani said to Iltalehte in his birthday interview in 2022.

However, the setbacks have not discouraged the artist.

– I think everything has a purpose. Although the trials have been tough, I try to see the positive in things, Palmu said in December 2022.

The passion for art has remained despite health problems.

– I want to paint more things related to the Old Testament. I’m not going to give up in the future.
