Honda Prelude to Revive European Market with 200 HP Hybrid in 2026
After a 25-year hiatus, Honda isโค bringing the Prelude back to European โคroads inโค spring 2026. The sixth-generation model will feature an improved โคhybrid powertrain borrowedโฃ from the Civic, delivering 200 horsepower.
The coupe originally left the European โmarket in 2001 as consumer preference shifted towardsโ more practical vehicle types. Adaptive shock absorbers and multiple driving modes will further enhance both comfort and handling. the interior boasts a modern design โคwith a digital instrument panel and a freestanding multimedia screen, while retaining physical controls for climate functions – a design choice intended to โขimprove driver safety.
The Prelude โขmaintains a 2+2 seating configurationโ typical of sports coupes, offering limited rear passenger space best suited for children or smaller adults.
while Honda has not yet announcedโ pricing, industry experts estimate the Prelude will cost around 50,000 euros.
