Jakarta – Samsung Electronics Indonesia has commenced pre-registration for its upcoming Galaxy smartphone, ahead of the global launch event, Galaxy Unpacked 2026. The pre-registration period runs from February 11th to February 25th, 2026, with the official launch scheduled for February 26th at 01:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).
The pre-registration phase serves as an initial step before the pre-order period, which will be open from February 26th to March 17th, 2026, according to a statement released by Samsung Indonesia. “Through pre-registration, we are opening priority access for consumers to be at the forefront when the latest Galaxy is introduced and to be among the first to experience the evolution of Galaxy AI, which will bring the mobile experience to the next level,” said Ilham Indrawan, Senior Manager of MX Product Marketing at Samsung Electronics Indonesia.
Consumers who pre-register will gain priority access to the pre-order period. Samsung is also offering a range of benefits and rewards during the pre-order phase, including cashback offers of up to Rp2,000,000 (approximately $125 USD based on current exchange rates) on product purchases, Rp500,000 (approximately $31 USD) in electronic vouchers for accessory purchases, and a surprise box containing exclusive gifts.
Potential buyers can pre-register through the official Samsung Indonesia website, Samsung.com/id, by clicking the “register now” button on the homepage. The registration process requires users to provide personal information and answer a series of questions. Upon completion and acceptance of the terms and conditions, participants will receive a confirmation email.
The modern Galaxy smartphone will be unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked 2026, which will be live-streamed on February 26th at 01:00 WIB. Samsung has previously teased the event, indicating a focus on effortless photo creation with Galaxy AI, according to a Samsung Global Newsroom announcement on February 13, 2026. The company highlighted features such as converting day to night in photos, restoring missing parts of images, and seamlessly merging multiple photos into one.
Samsung also announced plans to showcase its AI-powered kitchen appliances at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) 2026, held in Orlando, Florida from February 17-19, demonstrating a broader integration of AI across its product lines.
