Ford Elevates Ranger and Everest to Sharpenโฃ Competitive edge Against Hilux andโ Navara
Ford has responded to rivalsโข Toyota and Nissanโค wiht updated versions of its popular Ranger pickup truckโฃ and Everest SUV.โฃ The โขrefresh, unveiled shortly after the arrival of the latest generation Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara, focuses on subtle yet impactful enhancements to โboth styling and features.
First appearing in November 2021 (Ranger) and March 2022 (Everest), the current generation modelsโฃ receiveโ a facelift that builds upon their established design language. Rather than a radical overhaul, ford โฃhas opted for a refined approach, incorporating glossy black, matte black, gray, and chrome accents to create a fresher, more โcontrasting exterior aesthetic.
A key highlight of the update is the new Rangerโค Wolftrak, a special edition designedโค to project a more rugged image. This variant is now available in a striking new “Traction Green” color, alongside the existing “Shadow Black” andโค “Command Grey” options. Zest-colored accents on the grille and 17-inch โคAsphalt Black wheels further contribute toโ its aggressive styling.
Ford hasn’t limited the upgrades to appearance. The base-level Ranger XL now โboasts a considerably upgraded 12-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone climate control, and a thorough suite of safety and driver-assistance technologies – features previously unavailable evenโค on single-cab models.
movingโ up the trim levels, the XLT variant benefits from a โHeavy-Duty suspension system, optimized for increased carrying capacity. The XLS trim adds practical enhancementsโ like side steps, carpet mats, and 17-inch โคalloy wheels equipped with all-terrain tires.
Notably, ford โคhas discontinued the bi-turbo diesel engine previously offered โคon the Ranger.โค the updated Ranger and Everest โaim toโ maintain โคtheir โคstrong position in a highly competitiveโค segment by delivering a compelling blend of style, technology, and capability.
