Portugal will soon see the full expansion of our strategy. โฃAs โXiaomi celebrates 15โข years, we’reโ extending our ecosystem of connected appliances internationally,โข bolstering the “Home” โpillar. Portugal will โbe among the first to receive these products. Our ultimate goal is to provide a comprehensive, โ360-degree experience for ourโ users. โฃThe car integration will follow,โ accelerating our โoverall strategy.
With the launch ofโ these appliances, Xiaomi now directly competes with established brands like Samsung. How will you differentiate yourselves?
Xiaomi is uniquelyโ positioned to offer the most comprehensive ecosystem due to the sheer breadth of our product categories. Our system, powered by HyperOS, is unified and easily controlled through a single app. The seamless connectivity is a key differentiator – smartphones automatically recognize new devices like headphones or smart clocks.โค We believe our combination of โขdesign, connectivity, and features will attract a large โcustomer base.
How โคimportant is physical โคretail in showcasing Xiaomi’s connected ecosystem?
Physicalโ stores are crucial.โ The Colombo store has been โredesigned with this in mind and will feature dedicatedโฃ space โfor our new appliances starting in November. We’re planning a full rollout across our partner’s chain of stores between 2026 โขand 2027, and activelyโ engaging โคwith otherโข retail partners.
What is theโ key innovation in the upcoming Xiaomi 15T โฃPro?
Theโ 15T Pro โwill feature our advanced periscope technology,โ including a โ5x optical telephoto lens. This technology was previously exclusiveโ to our โultra models. We’re proud to be the first โin the industry to offer this level of โขoptical zoomโค quality in a โขdeviceโค priced under 1000 euros.
Beyond appliances, what can weโ expectโค from Xiaomi in โขthe comingโ year?
We’ll be heavily focused on expandingโ our ecosystem further. Expect โขto see a wider range of refrigerators and washing machines. We’ll also be bringing our โขhighly efficient โ(triple efficiency for โboth heating and cooling) and connected air conditioningโ technology -โ already launched in Spain – to Portugal,โ pushing theโ boundaries of efficiency โandโ speed.
