K-Robot Pavilion showcases Domestic Automation Tech at Vietnam Expo
HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – Five South Korean robotics firms, including UND and Bear Robotics, demonstrated cutting-edge automation solutions at the ‘VINAMAC EXPO 2025’ in Vietnam, supported by the korea Institute for Robotics Industry advancement (KIRIA). The K-Robot pavilion aimed to facilitate overseas business opportunities and promote the export of domestic robot technology.
KIRIA provided participating companies with export consultations – totaling 69 meetings with potential buyers – a local buyer database, and promotional materials. The exhibition highlighted the growing demand for automation in Vietnam’s rapidly expanding manufacturing sector.
UND showcased a “wholly wireless” robot automatic tool changer and an AI-based robot automation platform designed for continuous, multi-process operation.Bear Robotics presented its lineup of service and logistics robots, including serving robots for the hospitality industry and autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and forklifts for industrial applications.
IROB introduced a collaborative surgical robot for laparoscopic surgery alongside disposable surgical instrument packages, aiming to advance minimally invasive procedures. EF Engineering and CP Systems displayed electronic parts production facilities and cable protection solutions tailored for Vietnamese manufacturing sites.
“Vietnam is a core market where demand for robots and automation is rapidly expanding as it grows into a global manufacturing hub,” said Ji-ho Ryu, Acting director of KIRIA. “Through this K-robot Pavilion, domestic robot companies have secured references in the ASEAN market and provided an possibility to leap forward as global companies.”
KIRIA plans to continue supporting Korean robotics companies through participation in international exhibitions, such as ‘GITEX 2025’ in Dubai, and ongoing export consultations.
