Fuzhou Mobile and Huawei Pioneer 5G-A Experience Enhancement with Concert Launch
Fuzhou Mobile and Huawei have achieved a first in China: the complete integration of user subscription data with operator operation systems and network operation and maintenance platforms. This collaboration enables precise and efficient delivery of service packages, initially demonstrated with the launch of a “5G-A Scenario speed Up Package” at the Zhou Shen 2025 Tour Concert held at the Straits Olympic Stadium on October 19th.
The new system leverages artificial intelligence, including large communication models, spectrum efficiency modeling, and network load prediction, to accurately forecast service provisioning space. This results in a provisioning accuracy rate of up to 85%, allowing users to activate the acceleration package via text message in seconds.
The core of the system relies on the collaborative work of the core network NWDAF and wireless AI smart boards. This allows for accurate business identification and multi-layer refined resource management, maximizing the potential of the 5G-A network and catering to the personalized needs of users subscribing to experience packages, even under varying network load conditions.
Importantly, the system is designed to protect the experience of all users. Fine-grained resource management ensures sufficient resources remain available for those not utilizing the speed-up package, leading to a significant enhancement in average network delay. Furthermore,business hierarchical control safeguards essential services like instant messaging,voice calls,and QR code scanning for all users.
Following activation,the experience management system automatically generates and delivers a multi-dimensional visual report to users,enhancing their understanding of the network acceleration benefits.
During the Zhou Shen concert, users who activated the “5G-A Scenario Speed Up Package” experienced a 28.11% increase in upstream live broadcast rates and a 27.83% reduction in WeChat communication delays. Beyond performance gains, the system also offers a personalized user experience: speed-up package users can display unique UElogos, visually identifying their enhanced connection.
The end-to-end clever experience management system has undergone extensive testing in various high-demand locations throughout Fuzhou, including Yantai Mountain, Shangxiahang, Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, and at events held at the Fuzhou Olympic Sports Center. Thes trials demonstrate the system’s ability to fully utilize 5G-A network capabilities in challenging, high-load environments through collaborative, cross-domain intelligent management between the operator and equipment vendor.
