HCAP Announcesโข Departure of Key Leadership Duo After Eight Years of Success
Ambrรฌ-Piotta,Switzerland – The Ambrรฌ-Piotta Hockey Club (HCAP)โ today announced โthe departureโฃ of Sports Director Paolo Duca and Head โCoach Luca Cereda,marking the end of an eight-year partnership creditedโ with revitalizing the organization. The move โconcludes a highly accomplished tenure for both men, whoโฃ steered the club through a period of significant growth and โachievement.
Duca and Cereda’s collaboration is widely recognized โas instrumental in establishing HCAP as a โconsistent contender in the Swiss National League. Arriving at aโ pivotal moment for the club,they focused on building โa strong sporting identity โขand fostering a robustโ advancement pipeline for young talent.
During their time at the helm, HCAP achievedโ several key milestones,โ including ending aโฃ 13-year playoff droughtโค and securing a post-season victory. They also qualified for the โฃChampions Hockey โขLeague and, in โคa historic moment for โฃthe โclub, won โthe Spengler Cup in 2023 – their frist title in 23 years.
Beyond on-iceโฃ success, Duca and Cereda prioritized strengthening the club’s organizationalโข processes and reinforcingโ its core values of community, tradition, andโ teamwork. They also โขplaced โa โstrong emphasis onโฃ developing players from the โคclub’s โขyouth academy, successfully โคtransitioning several youngโฃ talents to professional contracts with both HCAP and other prominent teams.
