Original Everybody’s Golf Developerโข Asks Fans to Stopโ Contactingโ Them About Hot Shots
Fans frustrated with the state โof Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots on playstation are mistakenly directing โฃtheir complaints to Clap Hanz,โ the original developer of theโฃ Everybody’s โฃgolf franchise, the studio hasโข revealed.Despiteโฃ aโ long history with theโ series, Clapโ Hanz wasโ not involved inโ the โprogress of Hot Shots, adn is now requesting fans cease contacting them for support.
the โpleaโ comes as a result of โa surge in inquiries following โthe โgame’s recent issues, โwith many fans seemingly unaware ofโฃ the studio’s limited roleโ in the current iteration. Clap Hanz CEO โMasashiโฃ Muramori โaddressed โคthe situation in a statement posted to โX โฃ(formerly Twitter) on September 26, 2025, acknowledging the continued connection fans feel to the โคstudio due to their work on previous Everybody’s Golf โขtitles.
“Please note that due to our long-standing involvement in developing the Everybody’sโข Golfโ franchise, we continue to receive questions and inquiries about Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots,” โMuramori wrote. “However, while we can provide necessary improvements and support forโข titles we developed directly in the past at the request of SIE, we were not involved โin developing Everybody’s โขGolf Hot Shots. We kindly ask for โขyour โขunderstanding.”
The situation โhighlights a โcomplex โhistory between Sony Interactiveโ Entertainment (SIE) and โClap Hanz. While Clap Hanz continues to develop golf gamesโ – โฃmost recently Easy โCome Easy โGolf on Nintendo Switch and mobile -โ a โขportโค to PlayStation 5โ has not โขmaterialized. This, coupled with the closure of โjapan Studio, โwich previously produced the Everybody’s Golf โ series, appears to have โขcontributed to theโ fracturedโข relationship and fan โขconfusion.
