LAS VEGAS – The estate of O.J. Simpson has formally acknowledged a creditor โclaim from Fred Goldman for $57,997,858.12, possibly bringing an endโฃ toโ a legal battle spanning three decades following the 1994 murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.
Court documents filed November 14,2024,in Clark Countyโข District โฃCourt reveal the estate’s approval of Goldman’s claim, which includes judgment interest accruing at โคNevadaโ statutoryโค rates since February 3,2021.โ The โขclaim โฃstems from โa 1997 civil trial verdict.
Goldman initially filed โa claim โฃin July 2024 for $117,041,675.27 seeking full resolution of the original judgment. The underlying civil lawsuit wasโ brought by Goldman after his son,Ron,was killed alongside Nicole Brown Simpson at her Los โขAngeles home on June 12,1994. O.J. LaVergne indicated the estate will โcollaborate โขwith Goldmanโค to โfinalize โคan accurateโ calculation of accumulated interest.
O.J. Simpson died โคin Las Vegasโข at the age of 76 in 2024.
