Huawei Unveils New Smartwatch Lineup, Including Dive-Focused Ultimate 2 and Health-Tracking Watch D2
Paris, France – Huawei today announced a range of new wearables and devices, headlined by the Watch GT 6 smartwatch series promising up to 40 hours of battery life in specific trail running modes and a remarkable 21 days in certain usage scenarios. the company also introduced the Watch Ultimate 2, geared towards divers with communication capabilities up to 60 meters underwater, and the Watch D2, focused on cardiovascular health monitoring.
The GT 6 series is available in 41mm versions (priced from 249 to 299 euros, marketed towards a female audience), standard 46mm models (249 to 269 euros), and Pro 46mm editions (379 to 499 euros). Launch offers in Portugal, valid until November 2nd, include discounts of up to 50 euros on the 41mm version and up to 30 euros on the 46mm models.
Beyond the GT 6, Huawei showcased the Watch Ultimate 2, capable of sending messages up to 30 meters and touch signals up to 60 meters, featuring over 20 diving alerts. The Watch D2 aims to advance cardiovascular health tracking, specifically arterial tension monitoring, though Huawei clarifies these devices are not medical appliances and should not replace professional healthcare.
Rounding out the announcements were the Huawei nova 14 smartphone series, emphasizing a 50 MP front camera with 5x zoom for selfie enthusiasts; the MatePad 12 X PaperMatte Edition tablet, designed for productivity with an anti-reflex screen and M-Pencil Pro stylus support; and the FreeBuds 7i earbuds, featuring Intelligent Dynamic Anc 4.0 technology for adaptive noise cancellation.
Huawei reports having sold 54 million GT series smartwatches to date and claims global leadership in wearables during the first half of 2025.
