Miss Chile Apologizes After Viral Video Sparks Controversy
Santiago, chile – November 2 – Inna Moll, representing Chile in the upcoming Miss Universe competition, has issued an apology after a TikTok video she posted ignited a social media backlash.The video, titled ”Addicted to you,” depicts Moll appearing to inhale a translucent powder before showcasing her makeup.
The clip quickly went viral, drawing criticism from viewers who felt the content was inappropriate for a national representative in an international pageant. Manny argued the video set a poor example given her public role.
Responding to the outcry, Moll addressed the situation via Instagram Stories. She explained that a makeup artist requested she record the video, and while she didn’t fully grasp the instructions, she proceeded with the recording.
“I want to apologize to all the people who felt offended, but I also want to explain the situation,” Moll stated. She acknowledged the video was a mistake and expressed regret, adding that the experience would not deter her from continuing to represent Chile with dedication.
