Falcons‘ Key Offensive Players Set to Play Against Patriots Despite Injury Concerns
Foxborough, MA – November 1, 2025 – teh Atlanta Falcons will have their starting quarterback and top receiving threats available when they face the New England Patriots on Sunday, despite a week of injury questions. Michael Penix jr., Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Darnell Mooney were all removed from the injury report and are expected to play, according to updates released Friday.
Penix was limited in the first two practices of the week due to a bone bruise in his knee,but the second-year QB stated he was “trending in the right direction.” He will make his seventh start of the season.
London missed Week 8 with a hip injury but is set to return. The fourth-year receiver has 38 catches for 469 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season.
Pitts, a fifth-year tight end, was a full participant in Friday’s practice after being limited earlier in the week. He has 39 catches for 344 receiving yards and one touchdown in all seven games this season.
mooney participated fully in both Thursday and Friday’s practices. The veteran receiver recorded a season-high 68 receiving yards in Week 7.
The 3-4 Falcons will face the 6-2 Patriots at 1 p.m. ET at Gillette stadium.
