Downtown โDetroit’s New Apple Store to Open Sept.19, Coinciding with iPhone โฃ17 โฃLaunch
Detroiters will soon have โคa new tech hub in the heart of the city.Apple has announced its downtownโค Detroit store,located at 1430 Woodward Ave. next to the Shinola Hotel, is scheduled to openโฃ itsโ doors on Sept. 19. The opening date notably aligns with theโ first day customers can โpurchase the new iPhone 17 in stores.
The arrival of theโฃ Apple Storeโ signifies continued investment in Detroit’s urban coreโ and offers a flagship retail experiance forโ the region’s Appleโค enthusiasts. The new location replaces the previously existing store โat The Mall at Partridge โCreek in Clinton Township, which closed in anticipation of the downtown โmove. This shift reflects Apple’s strategy of focusing โon prominent, โคaccessible locations within โฃmajor cities.
On its opening day, the store will operate with limited hours, โopening at 5 p.m. and closing at 10 p.m. Regular hours – 10 a.m. to closingโค – โคwill resume the following โday.

The Partridge Creek Apple โStore had been an original tenant of the outdoor shopping center since its opening in October 2007.
