Erding,bavaria – Police fired at Bundeswehr soldiers during a large-scale military exercise in Erding,Bavaria,on Thursday morning,prompting a โjoint investigation. No one was โinjured, and authorities stateโ there was no danger to the public.
The incident occurred during “Marshal Power,” an exercise involving approximately 800 personnel – 500 โฃsoldiers and 300 civilian โemergency services – practicing defense scenarios in a public โsetting. โฃThe exerciseโข aims toโค prepare for potential defense situations, โขincluding combating drones, sabotage, and โirregular forces, simulating the defense of a NATO member state under attack.Training also includes securingโค crime scenes,traffic control,weapons cacheโ detection,and protecting critical infrastructure like the decommissioned Isar 2 nuclearโ power plant.
