Indonesian Air Force Receives Frist Dassault Rafale Fighter Jet
The Indonesian Air โForce has taken โdelivery ofโฃ its first Dassaultโฃ Rafaleโ fighter โคjet,โค marking a significant milestone in the country’s modernization of its defense โcapabilities. Personnel from the Indonesian Air Force are โcurrently โคundergoing training โat Dassault’sโ facility, preparing for flightโ operations with the advanced โฃaircraft.
The first Rafale,โ tail number T-0301, bears the markings of the 12th air Squadron, 6th Air Wing. Ground personnel, led by Lt. Col. Pnbโ Binggi Nobel,Head of โขthe Operations Division of Supadio Air โforce โBase,are receiving โขinstruction in “vector,avionics and โขarmaments.” simultaneously,pilots are “deepen[ing] their knowledge โof Rafale systems and operating โprocedures” before progressing too simulator and flight training. The aviators aim to fullyโ “master mission simulations and flight exercises.”
The delivery follows a “preliminary defense pact” signed โin May 28 between Indonesian โPresident Prabowo subianto and French President emmanuel Macron, formalized thru aโ Letter โขof Intent.This pact โpossibly includes “new ordersโข of โคmilitary equipment from Paris,โข including โขRafale jets โฃandโ Scorpene submarines,” according toโ Macron.
