BERN ‌ – The full program for the Swiss Dance Days 2026, a key showcase of contemporary dance in ⁢Switzerland, is now available online at swissdancedays.ch. The festival, running from February 11 to 14, 2026, will feature thirteen productions selected from a field of 198 submissions.

This year’s selection​ highlights the breadth and innovation within the Swiss dance scene,encompassing a diverse range of styles from street and club dance to intimate duets and⁤ large-scale ensemble work. The jury praised the chosen pieces as reflecting ⁣”a restless and creative field, which rejects easy definitions and which continues ⁣to grow in​ unexpected directions.”‍ The festival ⁢provides a vital platform for self-reliant choreographers and companies, offering exposure and fostering dialog within the national and international dance​ community.

Featured productions include GIMME A BREAK !!! by Baptiste Cazaux, ⁣ Heavily Underrated Gems ‌ from Bast Hippocrates, and ODE by Catol Teixeira. Also on the program are⁤ Same Love (Site Specific) by Company MEK, 1GUH WATCH by FIRE WITH ⁣YOU, from rock to rock… aka how magnolia was​ taken for granite by Jeremy Neath, REMEMBER by Jolie ‌butmi, Bl0Wn by Joseph Baan, DOWN ‌(full album) ‌by⁤ Melissa Guex, bittersweet intimidation display from Extreme Theater / Luana Volet,‍ Untitled (Nostalgia, Act 3) by ‌Tyrant ‌Willemse, ‌ Tambourines by Trajal ‍Harrell / Zürich Dance‌ Ensemble, and Troglodyte, Zaungast/Zaunkönig by ZOO / Thomas ‌Hauert.
