“Star Academy” Students to Attend “Running Man” Preview with Glen powell
PARIS – Students from the current season of “Star Academy” will trade vocal exercises for a night at the movies, attending a preview screening of Edgar Wright’s Running Man at the UGC Ciné Cité in Bercy this Monday evening. The outing, announced by an actor visiting the castle, offers a respite for the aspiring singers following a day dedicated to rigorous evaluations.
The actor, speaking to the 15 remaining students-down one following Lenny’s elimination Saturday night-shared his surprise: “If you want, I know you’ve been at the castle for a while, but I would love to see Running Man with you tomorrow evening.” The announcement was met with applause and excitement, according to the show’s official account, which shared a video of the moment.
The event will provide the students with an opportunity to attend a film premiere alongside Glen Powell, the film’s lead actor, and potentially experience their first “walkabout” and autograph signing.
This week’s evaluations will determine which group of five students receives immunity from elimination. The remaining ten will face potential elimination during Friday’s bonus show, preempted by the France-South Africa rugby match on November 8th. Only Ambre currently holds guaranteed immunity, having won it last week.
