Egyptian Artist Samah Anwar‘s Views on Relationships Spark Debate
RIYADH – Controversial remarks made by Egyptian actress Samah Anwar regarding men, relationships, and societal pressures on women have ignited a discussion across social media platforms. Anwar shared her perspectives during a recent radio interview, prompting widespread reaction and renewed debate on marital dynamics.

Anwar asserted that men are prone to boredom and, due to their physical nature, may seek external stimulation. “The man by nature does not like to speak much,while the woman expresses her feelings with words,and when he is bored physically,he resorted to another woman to escape the excessive conversation,” she stated. However, she also emphasized the power women hold in maintaining stability, adding, “but the truth is that it is the woman who has the keys to stability because she is the most capable of containment and passion.”
The actress also revealed she has decided against pursuing further romantic relationships. Anwar dismissed the notion that each age has its own unique appeal, stating, “I do not believe in a saying for each age of his sweetness, but rather I see that every person has his own sweetness.” She further criticized the commercialization of anti-aging treatments, saying age has become “a commercial way to push women towards Botox and Filler, which are things that do not occupy me at all.”
