Roger Vivier Opens New Parisian Headquarters in Saint-Germain-des-Prés
PARIS – Luxury shoe brand Roger vivier has consolidated its operations with the opening of a new 1,400-square-meter headquarters at 98 rue de l’Université in Paris‘s Saint-germain-des-Prés district. The prestigious mansion will house all of the brand’s teams under one roof, with an inauguration planned for october 2nd during women’s Fashion Week.
Owned by the italian Tod’s group and overseen by Diego Della Valle, Roger Vivier was founded in 1937 and gained prominence for its designs featured in films like Luis Buñuel’s ”Belle de Jour” with Catherine Deneuve. The new space will include the creative director’s studio, led by gherardo Felloni (appointed in 2018), administrative and sales offices, presentation salons reflecting the aesthetic of founder Mr.Vivier, and an archive of historical creations dating back to the 1950s.
“This opening represents a decisive step in the evolution of Roger Vivier and reaffirms its identity as well as its long-term commitment to the city which saw it born: a Parisian luxury house with global cultural resonance, connecting past and future through know-how, architecture and fashion innovation,” the house stated in a press release.
Roger vivier operates 90 boutiques globally alongside a network of multi-brand retailers. In 2023, the brand generated €286.7 million in revenue, a 16% increase over 2022, representing over a quarter of Tod’s Group’s total revenue.Tod’s acquired Roger Vivier in 2015, following an initial acquisition by the Della Valle family in 2001.
