Benjamins explained that Artificial Intelligence is a transformative technology and a huge business opportunity for large companies like Telefónica, where the so-called Generative Artificial Intelligence is already applied, a tool that serves to optimize the business, launch better marketing campaigns or deploy new ones. networks. In this sense, he explained that by knowing how people move through their mobile phones, generative AI is capable of proposing plans to improve traffic or transportation.
For the head of Telefónica, there are several challenges that must be faced in the short term, the first is to get SMEs to join Artificial Intelligence, while at the same time using this tool not only to launch very profitable businesses, but also to improve the planet. In turn, he also referred to the negative impacts of AI, among which he analyzed the ability to increase economic growth with less human presence, as well as the opacity of the models.
During the event, the president of the Valladolid Chamber of Commerce, Víctor Caramanzana, stated that “the economic growth of the region involves achieving a competitive and sustainable industry, which is reinforced by an innovative digital environment.” In this sense, Caramanzana highlighted that the Chamber of Valladolid is working to promote the digitalization of companies through Cámara Boost, the first digital skills accelerator in Castilla y León that allows companies and professionals to train in cutting-edge technologies.
