GRAND JUNCTION,โฃ Colo. – Residents of Grand โขJunction have โคa โsweet way to support โฃthose servingโฃ in the armed forces. Ruby Canyon Dental is holding its 17th Annual Candy Buy Back event on November 4th, from 10:00 โAM to 6:00โ PM.The โeventโ provides an prospect for community membersโฃ to sell theirโ excess Halloween candy for $1 per โขpound.
the initiative aims to โcollect donated candyโ to be shipped to activeโค duty militaryโค members โฃstationed overseas, offering aโ comforting reminder of home. “The purpose in this is โฃto supportโ our vets โand โsupport our deployed โactive military and give them a piece of homeโ that they โขdon’t โget everyโ dayโฃ and that sometimes we can take for granted,” explainedโ Jennifer Larson, โขoffice Manager โคat Ruby Canyon Dental.
Ruby canyon Dental is partnering with Blue Mothers of โคAmerica โคto ensure the safe โand efficient delivery of the candy to service members. โIn previous years, the event has โsuccessfully collected between 150 and 220 โpounds ofโ candy.
Unopened Halloween candy can beโฃ broughtโ directly to the Ruby Canyonโ Dentalโ office on November 4th. โThis โis a wonderful opportunityโข for the community to show their appreciation for the sacrifices made by our โขmilitary โขpersonnel.
